First Year Doctoral Student in Leadership and Organizational Consulting at the University of San Diego. Master in Public Administration, Certificate in American Indian Studies with a 3.8 GPA from Cal State University of Long Beach (May 2016). Working towards a Graduate Certificate in Public Sector Financial Management and a Graduate Certificate in Employer Employee Personnel Management (May 2017). Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an Emphasis in Rhetoric and Leadership (Dec. 2012). Planning to start a PhD program in Public Policy starting Fall 2017.
Experience
I have previous experience tutoring at the Graduate level in Public Administration. I have previous experience in tutoring Political Science, English and Writing at the Collegiate and Graduate level. I have tutored Middle School level in Math, Spanish, and Writing. I have experience tutoring at the high school level in Math, Spanish, Latin, and AP U.S. History. I also have experience in tutoring at the college level in Public Speaking, Astronomy, GRE Prep, Spanish, Statistics, and Writing. In 2007 for the SAT I received a 1780 and in the ACT a 27. In November 2016 I took the GRE, and I scored a 152 in Verbal Reasoning, 150 in Quantitative Reasoning, and a 5.2 in Analytical Writing. I have taken classes in Statistics, Government, Policy, and Public Speaking. I am a member of the National Honor Society due to my academic excellence in my graduate work. I served a term as a Neighborhood City Councilman as the Director of Area E in Del Rey California in 2013 and 2014 and was appointed to the Land Use and Planning Committee for that time and a period after. I have played lacrosse for 18 years and have coached for 12 years. My goal is to be a collegiate professor and collegiate lacrosse coach.
