I'm a tutor based in Los Angeles, California, where I enjoy doing yoga, reading, and hiking outside of the classroom. I have my bachelor's degree in biology from the University of California, Riverside and am currently pursuing my masters degree in epidemiology from George Washington University. I have an extensive background in the life sciences and would love to pass the knowledge I've gained throughout my educational career on to you. I have experience working as a tutor for both high school and college-aged students. As a student myself, I fully empathize with my students and what they often have to go through. Science can be a difficult subject for many, and I'm passionate about helping students break through their problem areas in the field. As a tutor, I make sure that you know the material well enough to apply it in all of your future academic endeavors, not just well enough to pass one single test. I firmly believe in using different teaching methods to reach different students since none of us learn in the same way. I will do all I can to help you reach all of your educational goals.
