MS in clinical psychology from Cal State Fullerton (2013); MA in elementary education from Loyola Marymount University (2010); BA is in psychology from the University of Missouri Columbia. With my background/experience, I believe I'm very qualified to tutor any psychology topic, any k-5 subject, and junior high English/language arts.
Experience
I have 2 years of classroom teaching experience at the junior high level. I taught 6th-8th English/language arts, as well as 7th grade science and psychology. My experience in the classroom has enabled me to learn best teaching practices, including creating engaging lessons, explaining concepts in a variety of ways (my favorite way is to use real-world examples/comparisons), and teaching to fit different learning styles. I also have research experience and completed a graduate thesis.
