***ONLY FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE TAKING THE SAT BEFORE MARCH 2016*** I recently graduated from Duke University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a certificate in Markets and Managements Studies. I scored 2310 on the SAT after attending SAT prep schools and receiving 1-on-1 tutoring. I am confident in my abilities to help my tutee excel in either Critical Reading, Writing, or Math sections of the SAT because I am knowledgeable of the strategies I used to obtain a score in the 99th percentile. I have tutored over thirty students, raising their scores by an average of 160 points. I keep track of my students' progress to make sure I am contributing to their growth. I also have experience teaching as an SAT instructor at an SAT-prep academy. My students have especially increased their vocabulary and became better SAT takers after spending time with me. I love teaching, helping, and serving others. I’m excited to meet and help you, not only academically, but also in life, since life isn't all about school and grades. I have a 9 year-old younger brother of my own who I love dearly; I do my best as an older brother to care for him and teach him to the best of my abilities. I would do the same for you.
