ExperienceI have a Master’s degree in Education Administration and have been teaching since 2008. My teaching credentials are Early Childhood - 6th grade generalist and ESL. I have taught and tutored elementary, middle, and high school students, but most recently I have been working with elementary students in grades 1 – 3. While I am available to tutor history and math, my favorite subject is grammar and language arts. You could say I’m “hooked on phonics”!
Getting to know my students, I incorporate their interests in order to hold the attention of the “Generation Z” youth. I always find a way to connect with my students, which leads to effective tutoring sessions.
Outside of academia, I enjoy boating on the lake, taking my dogs for a walk, relaxing on the hammock with a good book, or watching a movie with my family.
