I love to work with children, young teens, and adults, teaching them the wonders of Language, Reading, Composition and Comprehension, and my forte teaching area is English as a Second Language. About myself: early 30's, I recently moved to the LA area from Pittsburgh, PA, where I have tutored many hours in ESL (English as Second Language), and writing and reading preparations for testing. I am equally proficient with teaching children, young teens, and adults. I am passionate about language, and teaching it the right way. I speak several languages, as I myself come from Romania, Europe, and have been raised speaking several languages at once (mainly French and English). As such, I understand the struggle immigrants have with learning English, and have a unique background and style of tutoring which can help them make progress fast. Am very kind and patient with my students. Also, since I am a passionate linguist and love words and grammar, I have helped high school teens and elementary students prepare for their writing/reading/comprehension tests. I have mastered the instruction of English Grammar and Language, and Reading, and through my background of Latin (from my Romanian origins) am able to familiarize students with the origin of words and thus increase their vocabulary.
